Election Information

Park Ridge Park District's Board of Commissioners is comprised of a seven-members. Commissioners serve 4-year terms and are elected in the consolidated election in staggered years. Four commissioners are elected in one consolidated election and the other three commissioners are elected in the following consolidated election (two years later). Board members are volunteer positions and receive no compensation for their time.

Each member of the Board of Commissioners must be a citizen of the United States, a resident and registered voter in the Park Ridge Park District. Residency must be established for a minimum of one year.

Candidate Packets for those who wish to run for office of Park Board Commissioner will be available on this page of the website. Packets are provided as a courtesy; candidates are not required or obligated to use the information provided, and should seek the advice and direction of their own personal attorney. The Park Ridge Park District is unable to provide any legal advice.

The candidate packet is usually made available starting in September and ends with packet submittals for one week in mid-December.
