Candidate packets for the April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election are now available for individuals interested in running for the position of Park Ridge Park District Board Commissioner. Packets for the four (4) positions are available online or at the Park District’s Administrative Office located at 733 N. Prospect Avenue, Wohlers Hall Building, during regular business hours – Monday through Friday, from 8:30am-4:30pm.

Park Ridge Park District’s Board of Commissioners is comprised of seven members. Commissioners serve 4-year terms and are elected in the consolidated election in staggered years. Board members are volunteer positions and receive no compensation for their time.

Each member of the Board of Commissioners must be registered to vote and be a resident of the Park Ridge Park District at least one year prior to the election. Per the Park District Code, a person is not eligible to serve as park commissioner if that person is in arrears in the payment of a tax or other indebtedness due to the park district or has been convicted in any court located in the United States of any infamous crime, bribery, perjury or felony.

Packets are provided as a courtesy and are not mandatory. Candidates should seek guidance from their own personal attorney, as the District cannot offer any legal advice.
