This league allows the boys to form their own team. 11th and 12th grade teams are not allowed to practice unless they have an adult volunteer coach who attends all practices and games. 9th and 10th Grade Boys teams are required to have an adult Head Coach. Players register individually for this league. Team captains are allowed to request 8 players and then are assigned additional free agents to round out the team. Email player requests to Jim Dihu at jdihu@prparks.org by December 9. All high school boys will receive an email during winter break to inform them of their team assignments and schedules. Practices begin the week of January 6. Registration deadline: December 9. Our 90-minute class sponsored by Healthy Pi, is for all teens (including Girl Scouts). Make a first aid kit, learn how to treat minor household injuries, & know how to prevent and treat outdoor injuries. Class meets some of the Girl Scout First Aid Badge requirements, but class does not include a badge. Class is great to get them geared up for summer camp.

Sponsored by Safe Sitter®, this class gets your teen on the right track to become a babysitter. Participants learn how to care for a choking infant or child, basic first aid, personal safety, injury prevention, childcare, how to prevent problem behavior, behavior management, ethics, and babysitting as a business. Program includes a manual and completion card. Participants should bring a baby-sized doll, a lunch, and something to drink. Due to the cost of books and materials needed for the class, refunds will not be given 1 week prior to the start of the class.

Our 90-minute safe@home class, sponsored by Safe Sitter®, is sure to get your teen on the right track to be prepared for the responsibility of staying home alone. Through games and activities this program provides information and skills practice related to important safety training including how to practice safe habits, navigate common household emergencies, and how to prevent & address illness and injury. Program includes a manual. Due to the cost of books and materials needed for the class, refunds will not be given 1 week prior to the start of the class.
