Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Lakeshore Dance Academy Listen to traditional Mexican music as you enjoy Mexican food catered by a local restaurant. Then partake in the benefits of dancing from health to social enrichment with some Latin dancing. Alex Arteaga, co-owner of Lakeshore Dance Academy and who has been a fixture in the Chicagoland dance community for 20+ years will lead us in some fun dancing using a line dance format, so no partner is needed. This eight-hour, two-day course is for motorists age 55 and older. It focuses on the physical changes that accompany aging and on ways older adult drivers can compensate for these changes to improve their driving skills. After taking this course you will be eligible for a multi-year discount on your car insurance! Fee is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-AARP members to be paid on the first day of class to AARP. Make checks payable to AARP. Credit cards will not be accepted. Registration and attendance on both days is required. CAC
