Programs

May the Force be with you! In this class, students will build their own droids and program their own light sabers! Spending half of their time designing Lego robots and vehicles from star wars and the rest of their time bringing the Force to life in a Star Wars-themed Minecraft experience, students will get to explore various STEAM concepts all in a fun and mystifying experience.

Sections & Details

In this hybrid class, students will split the time between engineering and coding. For half of the three-hour class, students will learn python and create various text-based python projects and the rest of the time will be spent working in groups to create Lego solutions to real world engineering challenges like transportation or climate change. Groups will have the chance to compete against each other to see how each of their solutions have their own strengths and weaknesses.

Sections & Details

Wilderness explorers, discover how to live off the land. Tie different knots, set traps, and track animals. Create fire, build a campsite, and a simple shelter. Your training starts now! Camp participants at Maine Park or Wildwood camps will be walked to Survival Lab by a counselor. Bus transportation is limited to camps that attend Maine Park After Care. Attendees who are not in a camp or who are in a camp that doesn't attend Maine Park After Care will need to find their own transportation to class.

Sections & Details

Join your fellow wizards after camp. Participate in a game on broomstick, design your own magical creatures and plants, and create a magical wand. Attend a potions class and collect ingredients for a variety of bubbly brews! Camp participants at Maine Park or Wildwood camps will be walked to Wizard School by a counselor. Bus transportation is limited to camps that attend Maine Park After Care. Attendees who are not in a camp or who are in a camp that doesn't attend Maine Park After Care will need to find their own transportation to class.

If you suspect that the blood of the ancient gods runs through your veins, come quick! Train to use your powers of architecture, tinkering, logic, and more, like we’ve trained the eons of heroes who have come before you! Is your godly relative the great and wise Athena? The sun god Ra? The trickster Loki? Design your cabin emblem, collect and create camp beads, and get ready to accept the task the Oracle sets forth for you and your fellow demigods! Camp participants at Maine Park or Wildwood camps will be walked to Camp Demigod by a counselor. Bus transportation is limited to camps that attend Maine Park After Care. Attendees who are not in a camp or who are in a camp that doesn't attend Maine Park After Care will need to find their own transportation to class.
