5230617 / Sculpt & Stretch Demo
Try our new 45-minute class that combines the use of free weights to strengthen, resistance bands to lengthen, and stretching to increase flexibility. A 5-8 minute warm-up consisting of light stretching and low cardio to prep the muscles and joints. Next 30 minutes of resistance training using resistance bands and dumbbells to strengthen and further sculpt the muscles, followed by gentle stretching for a complete cool-down. This new class will begin in Winter session starting January 6, 2025. Instructor: Michele Crump. This is a free program, but registration is required.

Miracle on 34th Street Fireside Theatre, Fort Atkins, WI Miracle on 34th Street is a big brassy Broadway musical with a heart. Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade needs a new Santa. Enter Kris Kringle – a sweet and jolly old man who claims that he is the real Santa Claus. Thus, begins this funny, warm, tuneful, and inspirational musical as Kris has to prove his claim in court and teach his cynical neighbor and her daughter to believe in the goodness and love that is Christmas. Select one entrée from a choice of Chicken and Ribs, Steak Diane, or Seared Duck Breast. Fee includes lunch, ticket and transportation. Registration deadline: October 31.

Ring in the holiday season with a visit to The Griffins Museum of Science and Industry to explore the rich holiday traditions from around the globe with Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light. View a four-story, floor-to-dome Grand Tree, surrounded by a forest of more than 50 decorated trees and displays that represent the holiday traditions from cultures around the globe. It’s the one-of-a-kind experience that brings a whole world of holiday joy under one roof. Afterwards, lunch at a local downtown restaurant.
