This class is designed for intermediate dancers who want to accelerate their technique from into advanced level dance. Class will start at the barre and will help dancers to apply selected barre concepts each week to various turn and leap exercises at center and across the floor. This class will focus on ballet and barre exercises to help strengthen dancers in preparation for pointe work. Dancers will be individually evaluated for key indicators for pointe readiness and class will be tailored to their individual needs. It will include footwork exercises , turnout, leg conditioning, posture/alignment and select pointe or demi-pointe activities at the barre. Learn to enjoy your pet through correct discipline and handling. Dogs learn basic commands and positions of sit, down, stand, come and heel on a leash. Bad tempered dogs are not accepted. Please do not bring dogs to the first meeting. Rabies, shot history, and proof of negative fecal exam within 6 months are required at first meeting. Beginners are dogs that have not had class instruction. Note: Dogs must be at least 6 months old. The first meeting of all classes is held at South Park Recreation Center at 7:30pm
