Maine Park

Maine Park

Park Information

Prior to 1954, Maine Park was actually a separate Park District. With the approval of voters in both the Maine Park District and the Park Ridge Park District, the Park Ridge Park District annexed Maine Park in 1954. The Maine Park Leisure Center, which sits at this park, was originally Madison School which the Park District leased from School District 64, and later purchased, providing space for programs, preschool, and staff. In 2017, the Maine Park Leisure Center was extensively renovated to update the facility and provide new classrooms, improved mechanical systems, and additional restrooms.
