On the morning of Thursday, June 27, the Park District celebrated the formal opening of our new Maine Park playground. Park Board Commissioners, Park District staff, and enthusiastic summer campers gathered for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion. While the playground has been welcoming families for a few weeks now, this event officially commemorates this wonderful addition to our community.
