The 12th Annual Pedals for the Parks Bike & Trike Sale, hosted by the Park Ridge Friends of the Parks, benefits programs of the Park Ridge Friends of the Parks and promotes reuse and bicycling in our community!

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Lakeshore Dance Academy! Listen to traditional Mexican music as you enjoy Mexican food. Then, partake in the benefits of dancing, from health to social enrichment, with some Latin dancing.

Have fun as a family discovering what lurks beneath the surface of the pond! Dip and scoop with nets to catch lots of critters and maybe a few tadpoles!

Grab your besties and get ready to shine like a star at the ultimate Pop Star Dance Party! Strut down the red carpet and step into a night filled with music, dancing, and all things glam. A live DJ will be spinning your favorite hits from Taylor, Olivia, Sabrina, and more—so get ready to sing your heart out and show off your best moves! 

Enjoy a night of s'mores, stories, and songs around a campfire with your family. Sit around Wildwood's campfire circle to sing songs, listen to stories, cook yummy s'mores, and head out around the pond for a nighttime stroll.

A salute to the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe Day

• Military encampment featuring uniformed Allied and Axis “troops” representing the European Theater of World War II
• Visit the adjoining Park Ridge History Center to view additional exhibits. The History Center building is ADA accessible.

We're looking for passionate dancers to join the Ascension Dance Company! Ascension Dance Company is a premier competitive dance and performance team affiliated with the Park Ridge Park District's Dance Program. Our dancers receive top-tier training in a supportive and inspiring environment. 

Scout troops, community groups, school groups, church groups, and individuals - help clean up our environment! We will meet at the front of the Maine Park Leisure Center at the flagpole at 4:30pm and walk together down Sibley to the Des Plaines River, where we’ll pick up the unwanted litter. 

Bring your swimsuit and your appetite! We are kicking off summer the right way. Join us for lunch, a dip in the pool, and great entertainment with Hugo Elvis. 

Celebrate National Senior Health and Fitness Day at the Centennial Activity Center and Centennial Fitness Center! This free event is an opportunity to make, renew, and revitalize your commitment to live a healthier life through better health and fitness. 

The 2025 Camp Open House is held in-person on Thursday, May 29 from 7:00pm-8:00pm. The Open House is the opportunity to learn more about our specific camps, ask questions, and meet the staff.

Camp out with your family outside at Wildwood. Enjoy a campfire dinner and s'mores on Friday night and breakfast on Saturday morning. Before and after dinner, say hello to the Wildwood critters, borrow a fishing pole or net and visit the pond, and then enjoy a family friendly movie before turning in for the night.
