2024 Swim Meet Schedule

Swim meets begin June 19. Meets take place approximately 4:00pm-8:00pm.

Meet schedule is as follows:
June 19 - River Trails at HOME
June 26 - Bolingbrook at HOME
July 2 - Antioch at HOME
July 10 - AWAY at McHenry
July 17 - AWAY at Vernon Hills
July 24 - Conference Meet at HOME

Riptides are responsible for 16 timers at home meets and 4 timers at away meets. NISC permits each team to enter 2 individual or one relay in each event for the conference meet, so not all swimmers may be able to attend.

Popular programs fill up fast! Register early to guarantee your spot. Unless specified on the program information, registration is a first-come, first-serve basis.

We suggest you make sure you can access your online account prior to the initial day of registration.

Please keep in mind that on the initial day of registration for our seasonal guides, our registration team may be assisting others which can result in longer wait times.

Once you're logged in, check your account information

• Make sure all family members are included in your account prior to registering.
• Make sure all family members birthdates and genders are correct.
• Make sure your email address is correct.
• Check your residency status
• Check age requirements on programs you intend to enroll in to see if you meet the criteria.

Age Requirements & Exceptions

Appropriate age levels are established to ensure a rewarding experience for all. Individuals who do not meet the age requirements of a class must obtain an approval from a supervisor. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. If approved, enrollment will be subject to program availability at time of approval and registration will need to be completed in person.

Age exceptions will not be considered for preschool students who must be age appropriate by September 1.

The Park District’s software vendor, Vermont Systems Inc, has implemented a virtual waiting room feature that is applied to our Summer Camp Registration on the day registration opens. Did You Know?

Some residences are within the boundaries of the City of Park Ridge but not wholly or partially within the Park District. Those residents are eligible to purchase an annual buy-in. The buy-in provides your household with resident rates on Park District programs and facilities for one-year from the date of purchase. (Please be aware, you must still wait until non-resident registration begins to register for programs.) The cost of the buy-in option is based on the assessed value of your property multiplied by the last known tax rate of the Park Ridge Park District.

Waitlists

Most programs will have a number of waitlist spots available once a program becomes full. When registering online and the class reads as FULL - this means we have met the maximum number of waitlisted spots available for that program. We encourage patrons to sign up for the waitlist, as plans often change and spots may open. We will reach out to the waitlist in the order registered if spots become available in the program.

Youth Sports Leagues Registration

To give our staff time to form teams and find coaches, registration for our in-house sports leagues generally take place with the seasonal guide prior to season the league begins. Example: Winter House Basketball League will be found in our Autumn Brochure; Fall Soccer will be found in our Summer Brochure, etc.
