Choose one of the Park Ridge Park District outdoor pools as the place to host your party.

Centennial Aquatic Center

100 S. Western Avenue, Park Ridge

The Centennial Aquatic Center has something for everyone: from a zero-depth entry pool with spray features to exciting flume slides that twist and turn. Rent the leisure pool, wading pool, or whole facility for your gathering. Party packages are also available during open swim times. Centennial Aquatic Center rental dates are available beginning May 28.

Private rentals of the Leisure Pool are available daily from 8:00pm-10:00pm. The Wading Pool is available to add on to evening rentals. Private Leisure Pool or Wading Pool Rentals are also available on weekend mornings.

Parties are available 7 days a week; reserved between 12:30pm-7:00pm. The Party package includes food choice and patio area for 1½ hours.

Hinkley Pool

25 Busse Highway, Park Ridge

Located a short walk from uptown Park Ridge, Hinkley Pool is a five-lane, thirty-three yard pool with a one-meter springboard. It also features a grassy picnic area, volleyball court, and snack machine area. Hinkley Pool rental dates are available beginning June 1.

Private rentals at Hinkley Pool are available daily from 7:30pm-9:30pm.

Prospect Park Splash Pad

733 N. Prospect Avenue, Park Ridge

The Splash Pad features a large, pirate-themed water play area. Located in Prospect Park, the Splash Pad is appropriate for children ages 12 years and younger. It features a tot slide, interactive water features, a grassy picnic area, concessions, and restrooms in the Paula Hassell O’Connor Community building. It is conveniently located next to the Prospect Park playground for additional fun! Prospect Park Splash Pad rental dates are available beginning May 28.

South Park Wading Pool

833 Talcott Avenue, Park Ridge

This wading pool adjacent to South Park Recreation Center is the perfect place to bring toddlers and infants. It features a zero-depth entry, interactive water features, tot slide, grassy picnic area right outside the facility, and restrooms in the main building. It is conveniently located next to South Park playground for additional fun! South Park Wading Pool rental dates are available beginning May 28.

Pool Party FAQs

How many guests can I have at my Private Rental?

400 guests at Centennial Aquatic Center Leisure Pool
150 guests at Centennial Aquatic Center Wading Pool
300 guests at Hinkley Pool
180 guests at Prospect Park Splash Pad
90 guests at South Park Wading Pool

Please note that regardless of party size, there must be one adult over 21 supervising every 12 kids under 21. In addition, any attendees who cannot swim independently (including with a lifejacket or puddle jumper), must have an adult with arms reach of them in the water.

What are the things I CANNOT bring to my pool party?

Glass, non-Coast Guard approved flotation devices, alcohol, outside rented equipment, and entertainment are not allowed. Folding tables, chairs, tents, etc are also prohibited.

What are some things that I CAN bring to my pool party?

Coast Guard approved flotation devices (lifejackets and puddle jumpers)
Food or drink
Party decorations

For your convenience, a catering menu is available for all pool parties.

Limited refrigeration is available at CAQ and Hinkley. South Park & Splash Pad do not have a refrigerator available.

Can I come in early to set up?

15 minutes set-up and clean-up are included in your rental. Please check in with the pool manager (or cashier at Prospect Park Splash Pad) upon arrival.

What happens if there is bad weather?

If the forecast looks undesirable leading up to your party, you can call to try and reschedule. A 24-hour notice for cancellations is required to receive your full reservation amount back. If it is less than one business day away from your party, we will keep a $50 cancellation fee. All weekend rentals would need to be canceled by Friday 24 hours prior to receive the full amount back.

If there is inclement weather (thunder, lighting or temperature below 68 degrees) the day of your party and we are forced to close the pool, you will get a credit to your account. We are not able to reschedule any outdoor parties to indoor facilities.
